Earthquake: A Tragedy

2072 (2015) a tragic year for the nation, The year when earthquake of 7.9 hit Nepal. Many people lost their lives and many buildings collapsed. More than 8000 people lost their lives and among them one was my best friends, Sandesh's beloved, Anisha. She lost her life in a building collapse.

Their marriage was planned in 2073 and a year before their marriage she left this world. Her parents told Sandesh to get married to other girl and his parents and relatives also told him to get her out of his mind and marry someone else. But, he said, every night he sew her in his dreams, he saw the valuable times they had spent together. When he see her picture he felt like she was still with him.

Whenever people talkd to him about his marriage he remembered the promises he had made to her Promises of not being with anyone else. This maked him cry all the time.

Whenever he visit the place she took her last breath, he heard her talk to him. He visited that place every Saturday and at 11:57, he hear her voice screaming for help. A scary fact with emotional connections. Saturday, 11:57 when the earthquake hit the country. And on every Saturdays, at the same time he heard her scream. Strange & scary. He visited the spot for about a year. It was 12 Baishak 2073, at about 12:15 in the evening when I got the news that he poisoned himslef to death at the same spot. Later I found out that he texted me at 11:55 the same day, "I am going to Anisha. I am gonna be with her forever." Tragedy struck me, as I lost two of my good friends within a year.
