A trip to Biratnagar
I heard this from one the the Driver dai, who used to drive the night bus for many years. He used to drive the bus from Kathmandu to Biratnagar.
One day, as usal, the night bus left Naya Buspark in 6:00 p.m. for Biratnagar. The bus stopped at Muglin at around 10 p.m for food. After food, the bus continued to its destination towards Biratnagar. At around 2 a.m the bus was travelling at high speed through Pathaliaya jungle. Almost all passengers in the bus were asleep. But, few of them, who were in cabinet with the driver were awake. Aslo, co-driver was awake.
The was was travelling at high speed without any interruption. Suddenly! On the side of the road a middle-aged women in a red saree appears out of nowhere. Not only the driver, but other other people in the cabinet saw the women too. Since the bus was very fast, they weren't able to see the women properly. The driver stopped the bus after some distance and the co-driver along with some passengers tried to approach the girl thinking that she needed the help. But, when they reached there there was no sign of anyone being there and only they could see was dark and silent jungle. They returned to bus with fear in their heart.
The bus continued in its journey towards Biratnagar. After travelling few distance, the bus stopped in a small hotel for tea. Passengers were talking about the mysterious girl while having tea, when they came to know that a week ago a women died in the road accident in that place. Everyone on the bus got scared and they suggested drive to drive carefully fearing that they might be a part of accident. The bus safely reached its destination.
