Who's that in the bush?

As a child I was a very naughty boy. I always had to do lot of funs. Every evening after school I used to play games with my friends, sometimes football, sometimes cricket or any other games. We had a group of 5 kids with whom I used to play.

One day, as usal I was playing cricket with my friends. It was Saturday and I had gone but far from home to play. We were playing cricket since 3 p.m. We played cricket for long time. Playing on it turned into evening. It was little dark , not completely dark. I could partially see the objects in the dawn. It was my turn to field and I was fielding. As I was on the boundary line and other friends were near to batsman I had to run after the ball which was hit far away. It was one of my friends batting, who loved hitting ball far away. He was an aggressive player. On a slow ball, he hit the ball hard and the ball went into the bush. I ran after the ball and enterd to bush to search the ball. I started to searching for it. I started clearing the bush and searching for the ball. Finally, I found the ball. When I bent over to grab the ball, I saw a red alien-like red colored eye staring at me. I began to look at it continuously wondering what it was. I grabbed the ball and stood erect with my eyes continously at the red thing even without a blink. One of my friends shouted , "Sunil! Didn't you find the ball"? I replied, "I did" with my eyes still at that thing. Suddenly! I saw the eye blink and it suddenly changed into green from red. I freaked out and ran out of the bush with my pumping heart. I told my friends what I experienced in the bush, but no one believed me as I always told them such fake stories. One of them said, "You always see these kind of scary stuffs. Stop joking". I tried to convince them, but none of them believed. I ran directly to my home without any stop. It was the scariest thing I experienced as a child. I never returned to that place again.
